What is qigong?

Qigong is a gentle form of exercise combining slow movements, posture and breathing, traditionally practised in China. The Eight Brocades, or Ba Duan Jin, is one of the best-known qigong sets — eight short pieces, each repeated a few times.

This guide is for complete beginners, including older adults. Qigong pieces are simpler and repeated in place, while tai chi links movements into flowing sequences — this guide is qigong only.

This is a printable PDF download. No physical product will be shipped.
